Bupa London 10,000m

  • 30 May 2011

The perfect challenge to keep that New Year training regime right on track until the summer!  This route is expected to be used for the 2012 Olympic Marathons and all the way you'll be surrounded by the fascinating landmarks of the capital

Three babies are born deaf every day in the UK and 90% are born to hearing parents with little experience of deafness. Deafness makes it harder for children to learn to communicate and they can often feel isolated and alone.

By running the Bupa London 10,000m for the National Deaf Children's Society, (NDCS)  you will be helping us to give every deaf child the same opportunities in life as any other child.  Without the right support, deaf children are vulnerable to isolation, abuse, poor self-esteem and low levels of achievement in school.  We believe that this is wrong, and with your help, we can make a difference.

In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive:

  • a dedicated contact giving you help and support with your fundraising and training leading up to the event
  • a FREE NDCS running vest
  • exclusive discounts at online retailers
  • cheers and support on race day
  • much need refreshment and our personal thanks at the finish line

Sowhether you are already a keen runner or need an extra incentive to get fit then this is the challenge for you.
