"Walking the last 70 miles to the North Pole may not sound far, but when you consider ten times as many people have climbed Everest, you can be sure this expedition will be huge adventure for those fortunate enough to take part. Good luck!"

Fiona was the first British woman to reach the North (2001) and South (2000) Pole and was the first British woman to complete a solo unsupported trip to the South Pole (2004) in 41 days, breaking the world record.

“Good luck to everyone taking part in the NDCS North Pole Expedition! This is an extreme challenge and will be incredibly hard work, but the Arctic is the most wonderful and challenging environment in the whole world. The team will literally see the ice and snow move in front of their eyes. Nature at it's most raw.”

Ann Daniels - A record breaking Polar Explorer. Part of the first all women's team to ski to both the North and South Pole
