Important information about this trip?

This is a bespoke challenge meaning that this is just for people raising funds for NDCS.  The tour operator will be looking after the administration of the event and NDCS will be supporting you with your fundraising.   Your sponsorship money will be paid directly to NDCS. 

Event Registration fee: £250
Minimum sponsorship: £3250 (of which £1658 is tour costs)

80% sponsorship (£2600) due in: 18 December 2008
100% sponsorship due in: 8 April 2009
 

Return flights from London, accommodation, transfers, most meals and refreshments, bike hire, full medical support, experienced guides and support staff. 

Airport taxes and fuel surcharge, personal travel insurance, visas, gratuities, spending money, lunch on day 5 (free day), lunch and dinner on day 9 and lunch on day 10. 

You will need a cycle helmet. A full packing list will be sent to you. You will have the use of a 24 gear mountain bike. 

This ride is aimed at people of average fitness who are prepared to put in plenty of training to enable them to meet the challenge. The tour operator will provide a set of training guidelines to help you on your way. 

Hotels will be basic but clean and of a tourist standard, rooming will be twin or triple share. 

The food will be wholesome and tasty to provide energy. There will be snacks such as cereal bars and dry fruit available throughout the day and water available whilst cycling. 

Daytime temperatures will be 17 -29C and some rain is likely. Night time temperatures will be cold. 

Our team at NDCS will do everything they can to help you meet your fundraising target. You will be given a dedicated contact from our events team to give you fundraising support and to provide you with a few tried and tested fundraising ideas. You will also receive sponsor forms, and can request collection tins, an NDCS t-shirt and lots more to help your fundraising events to go off with a bang!
