I’ve always wanted to trek the Great Wall of China and the fact that I could do it for charity was fab! I work with children and the idea of helping a charity that focused on helping children with a lifelong challenge was an inspiration.

Sam Jackson, Trek China 2005

Having always wanted to go to Macchu Pichu, I jumped at the chance when my work colleagues advertised for others to join them. However, I was overweight at the time and I smoked. I knew I had to get fit to be able to undertake the trek.

I joined the gym, quit smoking and got fit! I lost over 3 stone and now run 4-5 times a week.

The trip was oustanding - the best thing I have ever done! The scenary and the people were great and I had a fantastic time.

It was a challenge but I loved every minute of it and to be able to raise money for a fantastic charity in the process topped it all. Fundraising in a group made it easier and fun!

Signing up the the Inca Trek changed my life!

Louise Waters, Trek the Inca Trail 2004
