I saw a Cycle Vietnam advertised in a national newspaper and thought, 'I'd love to give that a go, so I signed up'. I was immediately given loads of advice about raising money and training which was very useful. The events themselves are hard work, but brillant. You are with a great bunch of like-minded people who have all worked hard to raise money and given up their time to train for the challenge. You get to see parts of the world most people would not venture to, and not as a tourist! I love taking part in these challenges, you feel a great sense of achievement and self-satisfaction, you meet new people and make friends, and these last forever. I highly recommend that anyone considering taking part does sign up. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain!
