24 Peaks Challenge 2010

Your team challenge is to walk 24 peaks of over 2,400 metres in just 24 hours.

This is a tough challenge that will test your endurance and strength.  In just 24 hours you will achieve the enormous feat of climbing an ascent equal to half of Mount Everest.

Take your team to the top! You will need a team of five walkers and a support driver.

NDCS UK Challenges are run responsibly and carefully, in accordance with the Code of Practise for Outdoor Fundraising in the UK. All teams are fully briefed to respect the local environment, and we limit numbers to 200. Code_of_Practise.pdf (261 kb) [pdf]

Completing the 24 Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours was a superb achievement for us, especially as the weather conditions were so appalling! The whole experience was brilliant and it left us on such a high. Thanks to NDCS for organising such a life - changing experience, one that will live with me and the team forever. We learnt a lot about ourselves as a group, particularly how to get through tough times together, but the best thing about it was everybody involved raised a huge amount of cash for the charity.

24 Peaks 2007

An awesome event, that tested us to the limited both physically and mentally. The challenge of the mountains wasn’t helped by the fog, wind and rain however despite this, and a couple of navigational errors, we managed to complete the challenge in 23hr 43 mins. The organisation was first class and its an event I would highly recommend to others – a fantastic personal and team challenge with the benefit of raising money for a worthwhile charity
