The Gold Challenge

The gold challenge

The Gold Challenge is a chance for you to test yourself with as many Olympic and Paralympic sports as you can while helping to raise vital money for NDCS

How does it work?

You create your own personal challenge made up of 5, 10, 20 or 30 sports either on your own or in a team.

You choose which sports you want to complete and try them out in your local area. You will then receive points that go towards your Gold Challenge which you can compare with your friends and family.

The 2012km Challenge

This challenge is great for teams or those individuals who want to push themselves. There are three possible levels:

 2012km, 201.2km or 20.12km.

Complete your distance by completing one of more of the following sports: running, swimming, cycling, walking, horse riding, rowing, sailing or windsurfing.

Where can I do Gold Challenge?

Anywhere in the UK. The Gold Challenge has partnerships with key sporting organisations to ensure that taking part is easy and accessible in your local area.

Who can take part?

Everyone can take part, regardless of age, physical ability or where you live.

A kid’s version will launch later this year, for ages 7-16 and Paralympic sports are fully integrated within the Gold Challenge.

How do I fundraise?

We've got plenty of ideas and advice to make your fundraising fun and successful. You could set a target of £2012, fitting with the Olympics.  See our fundraising ideas to get your fundraising off to a great start.
